WRITER, PRODUCER,
DIRECTOR & EDITOR

Stuffed (USA/Brazil, 2011, 15:00, thriller, Red Camera, color)
A mysterious private eye is hired by an arrogant advertising executive to investigate whether his partner is stealing from their ad agency, which leads to fiendish consequences in this neo-noir film with a dash of creepy magical realism. Filmed in Los Angeles, the story is loosely inspired by the critically acclaimed Brazilian novel "The Devil To Pay In The Backlands". Like in noir novels, STUFFED depicts a world full of cynical attitudes, with dialogues that sometimes sound outlandish. The title of the film is used in the whimsical sense of "turned into stuff". CAST: Steve Bartlett, Phil Miler, Mariana Campos, Michael C. Pierce, Jessie Carter, Christine Tanabe, Brenna Rhea, and A.J. Ruiz.
AWARDS:
- "Best Foreign Short" at Las Vegas Film Festival
- "Best LA Short Film" at Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival
- "Best Short Film - Drama 15 minutes or more" at Atlantic City Cinefest

- Nominated for "Best Thriller" at Dragon Con, and "Best Actor in a Short" (Brazilian Phil Miler) at Atlantic City Cinefest
