Just wrapped from the shootings of Pot Kettle Black as script supervisor. The film asks how far can an actor go to have an opportunity on the film industry. Georgia Knotts (April Wade) is hired by director Heather Cherovkin (Jenn Fee) to star an ambitious art film. And nothing would stop her even when Cherovkin's partner Ben Grogan (Michael Worth) decides to shut down the project.

The short is directed by America Young and uses cameras with different textures to tell the fun and dark story. A Red captured the narrative film (as "real life" moments), while a Canon 5D and a 7D are the hidden security cameras from the abandoned house where Georgia is confined. And an HVX 200 was used as the camera from the news local station show where director and actress are interviewed.

This was the last shooting from Girls, Girls, Girls, an awsome project created by three gals: Jenn Fee, April Wade and America Young. It's a compilation showcase consisting of 8 shorts produced, directed, written, edited and shot by women filmmakers.

I also worked on two other shorts from the same project: How To Have a Happy Marriage, directed by Jennifer Lynch, and My Private Own Demon, directed by Barbara Stepansky.

Acabei de chegar das filmagens de "Pot Kettle Black", onde trabalhei como continuísta. O filme questiona o quão longe pode ir um ator pra conseguir uma oportunidade na indústria cinematográfica. Georgia Knotts (April Wade) é contratada pela diretora Heather Cherovkin (Jenn Fee) pra estrelar um ambicioso filme de arte. E nada pode detê-la, nem mesmo quando o sócio da diretora, Ben Grogan (Michael Worth), decide encerrar o projeto.

O curta é dirigido por America Young e utiliza câmeras com diferentes texturas pra contar a história divertida e dark. A Red capturou a narrativa cinematográfica (como momentos da "vida real"), enquanto uma Canon 5D e uma 7D são as câmeras de segurança escondidas na casa abandonada onde Georgia é confinada. E uma HVX 200 foi utilizada como a câmara do programa local de notícias onde diretora e atriz são entrevistadas.

Esta foi a última filmagem de Girls, Girls, Girls, um projeto super legal criado por três garotas: Jenn Fee, April Wade e America Young. É um longa que vai compilar oito curtas produzidos, dirigidos, escritos, editados e filmados por cineastas mulheres.

Eu também trabalhei em dois outros curtas do mesmo projeto: How To Have a Happy Marriage (Como Ter Um Casamento Feliz), dirigido por Jennifer Lynch, e My Private Own Demon (Meu Demônio Particular), dirigido por Barbara Stepansky.
